  We are back and ready dear community with reggae music. This annual non-profit fundraiser benefits The Backpack Art and Literacy Program.

Ky-Enie King: Ky-Enie is a dynamic force of spiritual resistance and lyrical transformation—a Jamaican-born artist whose music channels ancestral echoes into present-day awakening. With a voice that cuts like clarity and heals like ceremony, Ky-Enie defies genre boundaries, weaving roots reggae, soul, and acoustic reverence into a vibration that stirs consciousness and uplifts the collective.

Adwela & The Uprising: Adwela & the Uprising has toured nationally and internationally including Jamaica, Mexico, Australia, Vietnam and Germany . They have also shared the stage, opening for numerous Grammy nominees and winners, including Ziggy Marley, Third World, The Wailers, Akae Beka, Tarrus Riley, Inner Circle, Boyz II Men, and Afroman.

DJ Ruby Star: Ruby is a Roots Reggae & Dub Selectress, co-owner of Sky High Reggae and operator of mami hi-fi. She has been collecting and spinning tunes since the 90’s. Ruby’s collection spans 80 years of conscious music throughout the African diaspora.
